東北虎生活習性：西伯利亞虎常單獨活動，只有在繁殖季節雌雄才在壹起生活。無固定巢穴，多在山林間遊蕩尋食。
能遊泳，能爬樹。由於林區開發、人口激增，過去偏遠地區都已發展為村鎮，虎亦常到林區居民點附近覓食。虎多黃昏活動，白天多潛伏休息，沒有驚動則很少出來。虎的活動範圍較大，在北方日尋食活動範圍可達數十公裏。
捕獵方式是靜伏或潛行至壹定距離，然後突然襲擊，猛撲過去，咬住被捕動物的頸部，使獵物無法逃脫。捕食野豬，以及馬鹿、水鹿、麅、麝、麂等有蹄類動物，偶而亦捕食野禽，秋季亦采食漿果和大型昆蟲等。
